Most bagpipe chanters are diatonic in nature. With the help of keys a more or less chromatic scale can be acchieved. With Uilleann Pipes the regulators are also played with keys. Usually the keys are made from nickel silver or brass. On request, keys can also be made from real Sterling Silver.
