Tableware, coins, liturgical objects and and jewellery are just a small part of its traditional use.

Its high electric and thermal conductivity as well as its optical refraction index are the reason for various technical applications. Silver and silver-plated materials have an especially white and radiant shine. 

We also use a silver alloy for brazing.
